The Boathouse sits directly on the Ilen estuary, with four bedrooms, a glass-fronted living room, open fire and a broad deck over the water. Designed by architect Tony Cohu, the house was conceived around its extraordinary relationship with the river.

It sits in a quiet part of the 97-acre estate, within walking distance of the gardens, woodland and heated indoor swimming pool.
Because of its proximity to the water, we do not recommend the Boathouse for families with young children.
